Sleep Apnea
Sleep Apnea
Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder characterized by repeated pauses in breathing during sleep. It can lead to poor sleep quality and daytime drowsiness. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) occurs when the airway is partially or completely blocked during sleep. Treatment options for sleep apnea include lifestyle changes, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy, oral appliances, or, in some cases, surgery.
